Our mission is to provide the children in our care with quality developmental and educational programs in a nurturing, safe and supportive environment through play, centers, small group activities, art, music and reading.

Meet our Teacher

When considering where to send your child for part-time child care, I hope you'll choose Kids' Summit PDO.

Hi! My name is Camille Dorsey. For as long as I can remember, I've been babysitting and caring for the children of family members, friends and neighbors.  Naturally, I graduated with an early childhood education degree from Georgia State University. After graduating from college, I taught students in pre-K and 1st grade before becoming a stay-at-home mom.

For 16 years, I tutored dozens of students (Kindergarten through 12th grade) in math and English; I currently home-school my eldest child.  I am a former room parent of 4 years. During my son's 1st grade year, I assisted his teacher as her class art teacher bi-weekly. I regularly assisted the director of my children's former school with school-wide tasks and events. I currently volunteer in clerical duties at a local church and mentor children in their VBS program. I faithfully volunteer at my children's schools and have led a few projects over the years.  I recently served as co-leader for my older daughter's Girl Scouts troop.

Staying active is important to me…  My husband and I have been married for 15+ years. Along with our children, Stone Mountain Park is one of our favorite places to visit! I really enjoy hiking, jogging, traveling, experiencing new adventures and spending time with family and friends.

I aspire to see children learn and grow. My belief is that young children learn best in child-centered environments where they can play and engage in educational hands-on activities. This is my goal for each child who enters the doors of Kids' Summit PDO.
